Conceria Giava was founded in 1979 from the vision of Carlo Taddei. Since then, three generations of the same family have led the tannery with one clear goal: to place in the hands of those who design fashion a leather that speaks of true craftsmanship.

The foundingCarlo Taddei starts the tannery in Castelfranco di Sotto, in the heart of Tuscany’s leather district. The first batch: vegetable-tanned shoulders for sandals, destined for local footwear manufacturers.

Second generationCarlo’s children, Stefano and Patrizia, join the company and work alongside their father in expanding the business.

New facilityConceria Giava doubles its production space and introduces its first mixed-tanning lines, expanding its offer toward leather goods and footwear with the introduction of half-calf processing.

Third generationCarlo’s four grandchildren join the company and Conceria Giava consolidates its structure: the first collaborations with luxury maisons begin.
